Community Involvement

The Wilson Agency is an active and strong supporter of the industry’s professional organization on both a local and national level.  Several employees were charter members of our local award-winning chapter and have continued to serve in a leadership capacity.  Many have traveled to Juneau and D.C. to educate legislators on healthcare issues and advocated on behalf of our clients.

Additionally, The Wilson Agency generously donates thousands of dollars every year to charitable organizations around the state.  We have developed charitable giving guidelines to guide requests and target our giving in a way that supports our values.  Priority is given to charities that promote healthcare access and quality, and charities that are supported by our clients or our employees.  For the past several years, The Wilson Agency's averaged over $31,000 in donations to Alaska nonprofits.  And, in 2014, we helped to raise over $50,000 for Anchorage Project Access in celebration of our 50th year in business.
